How to Turn Leftover Baked Potatoes into Crispy Fried French Fries

Got leftover baked potatoes? You can easily turn them into crispy, golden French fries by frying them in oil! This simple method takes your day-old baked potatoes and gives them a deliciously crispy twist that’s perfect for a quick snack or side dish.

Start by slicing your cold, leftover baked potatoes into fry-shaped pieces. Since they’re already cooked, this method is faster than starting with raw potatoes. Heat a skillet or deep fryer with enough oil to cover the fries. Once the oil is hot (around 350°F or 175°C), carefully add the potato slices in batches to avoid overcrowding.

Fry them for 3-5 minutes, until they turn golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil, then season with salt, pepper, or your favorite seasoning blend.

These fries will be crisp on the outside and soft on the inside—perfect for dipping in ketchup or any sauce you love!
